Very nice, comfortable and sturdy chair in the style of an Ikea Poang chair.
Built in the early 70s by the Canadian company Plydesigns. The short-lived contemporary of Eames, Herman Miller, Ply Craft and Ekornes.
Bent Rosewood veneer frame is in excellent condition.
Leather is in good condition with wear consistent with age and no major tears and some minor flaking in very small spots as pictured. One arm is more faded than the other and there is a small burn hole in the left arm.
Original leather cushion is present. It is missing both straps that secure i to the top to prevent it from sliding but this does not affect the comfort when sitting in it and the cushion will stay up where it should be until it is disturbed.
A rare opportunity to own a scarce piece of Canadian built furniture.
